Get Involved: Call for Participants
What is the EPPC & Who Can Participate?
The European Public Policy Conference (EPPC) is a student-run initiative of the Hertie School of Governance and the IPLI Foundation. The 11th annual EPPC, titled “Syncing Societies: Exploring the Intersections of Tech and Policy,” will be a platform for public policy makers, visionary graduate students and young professionals to challenge existing concepts and propose innovative solutions. At the same time it will be a forum for connecting people and sharing ideas.
Conference participants (speakers, panelists, workshop leaders, paper presenters, etc.) are ideally experts in one of the following research areas:
- Tech: disrupting or reinforcing inequalities?
- Gentrification vs. Smart Cities: who has a right to the city?
- Tech and the State: is the rise of tech changing the state as we know it?
The conference aims at connecting these fields under the broader topic of the rise of tech in society. Should you be interested in participating in this year’s EPPC, please follow the link below to complete our online form with a brief introduction of your person, an explanation of your planned contribution and your contact information. Once you've registered your interest, the EPPC committee will review your proposal. Travel and hotel related expenses for confirmed participants will be reimbursed on a case by case basis by the EPPC committee.
