Coming Full Circle
We will kick-off our conference with an introduction by the EPPC team and some welcome words by the IPLI foundation. After that we are looking forward to an opening keynote by Andrè Confiado.

Becoming Circular around the globe: How can Latin America and Europe benefit from a regional alliance?
What are the main challenges Latin America faces in its transition to a circular model? In this section we will see what efforts have been, are and will be relevant for a transition of other regions in the world. Berlin’s Permanent Secretary for the Environment and Climate Protection will give an insight into the city’s journey towards zero waste and circularity, and which successful activities can be applied to other cities.
Circular cities Panel Discussion
Stakeholders from Circular Cities initiatives around the globe will share their insights into policy components of city-level circular transitions. Participants will find out why it is crucially important to focus on circular policies at an urban municipality level, specifically in regards to the translation of the SDGs to local-level implementation.
